Ok, I love a new things. Who doesn't! So I want this review to be taken with a grain of salt since it was done on opening night. My second thought for today is "Cookie Cutter" eateries. These are the type of place that orders all it's food from out of shop and you can go to 12 different places and they all serve the same food. Tart to Tar is one place that comes to mind... That said. This evening I ordered:
2) The curry was good, it tasted like curry, although the egg plant had been stewed to a very mushy consistency. The angel hair pasta that was added to the curry "soup" was not needed. I felt if it been a more asian noodle, I would have enjoyed it more.
3) Sigh.....They brought out an entire chicken, with a small fire on the bottom. Cut it at the table, placed it on a bed of mixed green with a side of sweet & sour. This chicken....had to have been a Albertson's Chicken. The texture and taste was un-mistakable.
4) The orange sorbet is very fancy looking, but it turns out is just a pre-ordered desert that you can get locally at many places.
The bottom line was this:
Food: 6/10, cookie cutter meals. reheated and served
Price: 9/10, we got away for 25$ with food and drinks
Portions: 9/10, we took home at least 1 more meal for tomorrow
Enviroment: 7/10, A little stale, but clean
