Bay to Breakers 2005: Report
Well, May 15 has come and is almost gone. Bay to breakers is done. For those who are too lazy to click the link, Bay to Breakers is one of the worlds oldest and largest foot race. Estimated at around 100,000 people. It is a 7.5 mile run from downtown San Francisco to the other side of the city, AKA the ocean. There are two types of people who run, those who are running the race (like the guy from Kenya who won in 34.10 minutes), and those who walk/run for fun. So the gang got together and ran the fun race. They were dressed as mexican wrestlers and I was the manager I suppose. We all got up at 6 AM and headed downtown, the bus fare was 6$!! Highway^H^H^H^H^H^H^HLight Rail robbery! The race started at 8:30 and we had lost Meghan and most of the people before we even reached the start line. Also there was a tortilla fight at the start. It was crazy. So many wasted tortillas. I will post pictures when I get a chance. My photo gallery is full still and I have yet to buy new hardware because it needs an entire new hard drive set. We had a great time, got really drunk, ran a bunch, saw lots of naked people....young and old. ew. I think Jose too about 50 pictures as well, so when he gets those put on digital, I'll post his as well.
This is dorky, but everyone had on these B2B shirts and I kept thinking it was business to business stuff. Put then I realized it was B2B...Bay 2 Breakers? Duh?
Much Love.
