I am a part time nerd, part time chef and full time whiner. Did I type whiner? I meant winner...no wait, I whine a lot. I've worked in High Tech and Television and a few places in between. I've eaten fire roasted snakes and hand fulls of peeps (not in the same sitting of course). I'd like to share my experiences, so read on.

Reality: Willie Brown, Birthdays and David Cross

So it was my birthday, yesterday. Thanks to everyone who called and said stuff. I had a training course at SFSU all day. An IBM rep came to do a 3 day training course on the IBM Rational Application. I call it Eclipse on roids. They call it Eclipse with hard core UML and transforming powers. Right after that I picked up Lydia and then we headed back to my place for like 10 seconds. We went to Cobb's Comedy Club down on Columbus to catch David Cross and friends talk about politics. Some of the guys were ok. David was really funny as usual. The wierd part was at the end, they did a round table and Willie Brown was out there. Anyways, most people who listen to David Cross, don't like Willie Brown. This was a recipe for disaster. The audience was turning on the comics and Willie was telling people to shut the fuck up. Classic.
